������������� Donates Nearly 800 Halloween Costumes to Kids at Primary Children’s Hospital

Salt Lake City, UT – October 24, 2022

Today, ������������� of Nursing and Health Sciences’ faculty and students donated 200 trick or treat buckets, 100 room decor bags, nearly 800 costumes, 150 pounds of candy, 455 prizes to Primary Children’s Hospital. For the fourth year in a row, ������������� united its community of students, faculty, and staff together with the public to bring Halloween to hundreds of children who are patients at Primary Children’s Hospital.

“Every year, the ������������� community is called upon to help bring Halloween fun to Primary Children’s Hospital and once again they delivered,” said Sherry Jones, president of �������������. “We’re proud to partner with this fantastic organization and bring this special time to children who cannot celebrate outside with families and friends. I’m very grateful to our students, faculty, staff, and larger nursing community for their donations and rallying around these children in need.”

The University set up a drop-off station to gather donations from students, faculty, staff, and the public. Donations covered 100 percent of the costumes Primary Children’s needed to celebrate the spookiest night of the year.
